We’re excited to announce that SocialTech Lab has been selected as a finalist for the 2025 New European Bauhaus (NEB) Prizes!
Our innovation hub, The Base by CyprusInno — the Social Impact Generator, has been recognized under the “Regaining a Sense of Belonging” category (Strand A – NEB Champions). This prestigious category highlights completed projects making a real, tangible impact on building more beautiful, sustainable, and inclusive communities.
Repurposed from a container and located in the Buffer Zone of Nicosia, the Social Impact Generator is a peace innovation hub where young changemakers from across Cyprus co-create their shared future. Since its founding, the hub has supported over 500 startups and social ventures, offering free programs, mentorship, and resources to youth, entrepreneurs, and underrepresented communities.
From over 700 applications across Europe, we’re proud to be the only finalist from Cyprus across all NEB Prize categories, a testament to the power of collaboration and innovation in conflict-affected regions.
Thank you to the New European Bauhaus and the European Commission for this incredible recognition. We’re honored to stand among inspiring initiatives across Europe shaping the future of our cities and societies.
