series of bootcamps strengthening Cyprus’ agrifood innovation ecosystem through hands-on entrepreneurship support, stakeholder dialogue, and startup capacity building.
Description
Between 2021 and 2023, CyprusInno, with the support of EIT Food, delivered a series of Agrifood Startup Bootcamps & Networking events designed to connect the agrifood ecosystem in Cyprus and support early-stage founders, entrepreneurs, and innovators working on agrifood solutions.
Across three editions, the initiative brought together aspiring founders, existing agrifood startups, industry experts, public authorities, researchers, and ecosystem actors through a mix of interactive bootcamps, panel discussions, and networking sessions. The programmes focused on helping participants shape ideas, strengthen business models, improve branding and pitching skills, and access funding and EIT Food opportunities, while fostering collaboration across the ecosystem.
The events were implemented in collaboration with key partners, including Cyprus University of Technology, Colive, and local industry stakeholders, ensuring strong links between entrepreneurship, research, and the agrifood market in Cyprus.
