CyprusInno (Powered by SocialTech Lab), in collaboration with the Embassy of the United States of America and with support from Chevron, proudly launches the 2024 Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE). Applications for this transformative programme are open from 26 July to 18 August.
Founded in 2019, the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) is a program of the Educational and Cultural Affairs Bureau of the U.S. Department of State. It equips women with the knowledge, networks, and access they need to launch and scale successful businesses. By promoting women’s economic opportunities and ensuring women have the capabilities and resources needed to participate in the economy, the AWE programme directly supports the U.S. National Strategy on Gender Equity and Equality. Implemented in nearly 100 countries, AWE has supported an estimated 25,000 women entrepreneurs around the world to grow their businesses and reach their full economic potential.
